Dux, Emma (17 Jun 1914)

Last Wednesday, June17, at 11:30 o’clock Miss Emma Dix and Hm. Hoffman were united in marriage by Rev. Reiff.  The ceremony was held at the home of the bride’s parents and was witnessed only by relatives of the couple who were attended by Ben Dux and Anna Manthe.  The bride wore a gown of white embroidered crepe and carried a bridal bouquet of roses.  The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Dux and is a most estimable young lady.  For several months she has spent most of her time in St. Paul and Minneapolis.  Mr. Hoffman is a well known young man of this neighborhood and is a very capable and industrious young man.  The young couple are now spending some time with their friends and relatives and later will go west to make their home.  They have the best wishes of their many friends for their future welfare and happiness.
