Harold Hoffman spent the week end with Harold Crane at Manawa.

 

Fred Holubetz is doing the refinishing work at the Armory this week.

Frank Beil had the misfortune to cut his hand quite badly while working in the store Monday.

Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Schraufnagel and family spent Sunday at the Leif Erickson home at Thorp.

 

Clarence VanEss is visiting his father at Oshkosh and other relatives at Sheboygan this week.

 

Martin Anderson and family and Mildred Fults enjoyed a picnic at the Wausau park Sunday.

 

Lloyd Thompson of Mosinee spent the week end at the home of his mother Mrs. Mary Thompson.

 

Mr. and Mrs. C. Truax and Mrs. Etta Brown of Boyd and Mrs. Louis Miller spent Friday at Spencer.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Joe Schefsick and daughter Lorraine of Chippewa Falls, were visitors here Sunday.

 

Mr. Wm. Regall and Miss Frieda Regall of Unity called at the Mike Mantik home Wednesday evening.

 

Miss Norma Mittlestedt of Chicago is visiting at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Eli Mittlestedt. 

 

Mrs. W. Hoffman of St. Point called at the home of her cousin, wm. Berry and family Wednesday. 

 

Mrs. John Hutt and son Maurice spent Tuesday at Rib Lake.

 

Coral Hirsch of Unity called at the Ger Stump home Friday.

 

Mrs. Maurice Anderson spent a few days at Park Falls this week.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schara and family were at Augusta Saturday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. F. Marks and family were at Chippewa Falls Sunday.

 

Mrs. James Fults and son spent the past week at Stanley and Durand.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Carl Holdum and family spent Sunday at Chain Lake.

 

Prof. and Mrs. S. J. Paynter and family spent Sunday at Rib Mountain.

 

Dr. and Mrs. Dunn of Rice Lake called at the Louise Merrill home Thursday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Geo Papenfuss and two children were at Marshfield Saturday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Ed Kattre and son Lester spent a few days at Milwaukee this week.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Paul Waech returned Sunday after spending two weeks at Milwaukee.

 

Mrs. H. Nelson, Mrs. C. Krone and Mrs. Hans Amacher were at Chippewa Falls Friday.

 

Adelaide Simerson spent Tuesday with her sister, Mrs. Frank Juneau at Chippewa Falls.

 

Mr. and Mrs. E. Munson of Withee and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Young spent Sunday at Rib Mountain.

 

Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Thompson spent Sunday at Antigo with the latter’s brother, Fred Doernenberg.

 

W. T. Davey and family of Albertville visited Saturday at the home of Prof. and Mrs. S. J. Paynter.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Moss of St. Point called at the home of her nephew, G. Barker and family Monday.

 

Estella Strebe of Sheridan came up Monday on a weeks vacation. She spent Monday and Tuesday at the August Strebe home.

 

Mr. and Mrs. W. Waldhart, Miss Jessie Hanson and Herbert Braun visited Friday at the E. F. Waldhart home in Junction City. 

 

E. C. Clark called on friends here Friday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Chas Engel and son Raymond, Arnod Johnson and Miss Edna Engel, spent Sunday at Rib Mountain. 

 

Mrs. Fern Rawson and son Raymon and a party of friends from Wausau called at the J. A. Olson home Sunday. 

 

Arnold Johnson of Minneapolis and Miss Edna Engel of Chippewa Falls spent the week end at the Charles Engel home. 

 

Audrey Anderson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Anderson, was surprised by eight girl friends Friday evening, the occasions being her birthday anniversary. 

 

Mrs. Nancy Greaser of Rockwell City, Ia., and Glen Schomler and family of Boscobel spent the week end at the home of the former’s son, C. F. Greaser and family. 

 

Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Daley and Mr. and Mrs. Maxwell Jenks attended the dedication of the new Masonic Temple at Adams Thursday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Matt Grengs and daughter Eleanore of Flint, Mich., spent part of last week at the home of his brother, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Grengs. 

 

Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Goldamer, A. H. Luhrsen and Prof. S. J. Paynter attended a school board convention at Neillsville Wednesday evening. Mrs. Hans Amacher who has been visiting there, returned with them.
