Foemmel’s Corners (8 July 1910)

Well the fourth of July has come and gone and it didn’t rain.

Archie Howard was on the sick list the first of the week.

John Lastofka and family spent Sunday at Ely Heck’s.

Doc Wonser and family autoed out to Nonhof’s one evening last week.

Mrs. Hefty is able to be about on crutches.

Mr. and Mrs. John Pietenpol and son Frederick, Mr. and Mrs. Al Nonhof and son Glen, Elsie and Amelia Krause did shopping in Neillsville late last week.

Lou Davis writes that he is nicely settled in a place called Babb, Mont., and that they are about 4500 feet above the sea level.  It is rather cool up there but quite a nice place to work.  He has employment with the government survey.
