Foemmel’s Corners (1 July 1910)

 

Al Nonhof is making a wall for a stave silo which he intends putting up soon.

 

Louis Hayden of St. Paul spent Sunday evening here with his parents.

 

Miss Velda Heyder had he misfortune to poison her face and hands with poison ivy.

 

Truman Davis and family, Sundayed at J. M. Tompkins

 

Clara Krause who graduated from the Bible school at Ohio returned home last Thursday.

 

August and Fred Foemmel have rock hauled for the abutments of the iron bridge near our cheese factory.

 

Lizzie Krause is somewhat under the weather due to lung trouble.

 

Mrs. Scott Davis, son Lawrence, sister Emma Kimball and Mrs. Chas Lapham were seen on our streets riding their ponies.

 

Truman Davis is building a concrete wall for his wood shed.

 

Elsie Krause did sewing for her cousin Mrs. John Krause on Tuesday.

 

Maud Nonhof and Effie Davis called on Mrs. John Breese Monday eve.

 

Ely Heck is hauling sand for the bridge near the factory.

 

Lydia Krause is entertaining a oil or stone bruise on her foot.

 

Mrs. Krejci’s sister after spending several weeks here and at her brother Jake Schafer’s returned to her home in Chicago.

 

Alvin Schafer who has been in the hospital at Eau Claire for some time is said to be improving.

 

Just a few sprinkles of rain were all we could get Sunday, but just wait until the 4th of July.
