Heathville (10 June 1910)

It was a matter of considerable surprise Wednesday, June 8th, when the secret leaked out about the marriage of Miss Gusta Schmidtke, daughter of Mrs. Schmidtke, to Joe Madler.

A baseball game was played between Lynn and Heathville last Sunday, resulting in favor of the latter. Score 3 to 20

Wm. Albrecht was a Chili caller last Tuesday.

Charley Schuster is again working for Mr. Moldenhauer.

A daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. John Rollins, Friday, June 3.

The Martin-Latamore-Jordan band furnished good music for the dance at Knoll’s granary Saturday evening and all present enjoyed their selves very much.

M. and Mrs. H. A. Knoll expect to leave for Rockham, S. D. in the near future for a weeks visit with relatives.

Gordon Davis transacted business at Loyal Monday.

W. R. Happe and family attended the picnic near Granton last Sunday.

H. A. Knoll would trade his 130 acre farm for suitable village or city property.
