Walz, Helen M. (25 APR 1939 - 11 APR 2011)

 


Helen Marie Walz, 71, of Blue Ridge, Ga., died at her son's home in Masaryktown, Fla., on Monday, April 11, 2011.


She was born April 25, 1939, in Owen to Bernard and Martha Lulloff. She attended Owen-Withee High School and graduated in 1957. She was married to Fred Walz.


She worked in banking for 33 years before retiring. She was very devoted to her family and a Lutheran by faith. Throughout her life, she enjoyed playing softball, gardening and homemaking.


Surviving her are her children, Tammy LoBello (husband, Robert), Gary Walz (wife, Deanna); step-children, Deanna Martin, Fred Walz (wife, Ruth) and Colin Walz (wife, Layton); grandchildren, Christina, Michael, Colby, Trinity, Isabella and OIivia; step-grandchildren, Jeanmarie, Kathryn, John, Sarah, Emily, Paige and Nicole; great-stepgrandchildren, Grace, Jacob, Lauren, Brendan, Nicholas, Jack, Sam, Clare and Julia; and siblings, Darlene Richards (husband, Clarence), James Lulloff and Robert Lulloff (wife, Pearl).


She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Walz; her parents, Bernard and Martha Lulloff; and her brothers, Vernard, Arlyn and Carmen Lulloff.


Funeral services were held in Florida on April 15, 2011, and inurnment will be at 5 p.m. July 15, 2011, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church-Green Grove Cemetery, Colby. Following the burial, friends will be received at the Hayloft Restaurant in Withee.
