Homemakers will meet this (Thursday) evening at the home of Mrs. Gordon Vine.

Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Smith of Appleton visited Mr. and Mrs. William Lehman from Satruday to Tuesday and attended the graduation of her sister, Carole, in Granton High School Monday evening.

Kurth School closed Friday with its picnic at the Schuster Park.  Mrs. Donald Bartsch, teacher, was assisted by mothers.

Mrs. Gladys Borg and children of Wausau visited last weekend with Mrs. Victor Braatz and her family.

Mrs. Adrian Virnig, Mrs. Harry Valeski, Mrs. Francis Steiner, Mrs. Donald Bersell, Mrs. Al Lang, and Mrs. Joseph Arbelovsky, of the Spencer, Chili and Granton areas, attended the dedication service and Mass at St. Joseph the Workman cathedral in La Crosse last week Wednesday.

Floyd Winn is about again following three days of hospitalization in Memorial Hospital.

David John Stytz has passed his physical examination for entry into the army.  He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Stytz.
