Hagen, Sylvia (Marriage - 12 May 1962)

 

Nuptial vows were exchanged Saturday by Miss Sylvia Hagen and Darryl Dayton of Granton, in St. John’s Lutheran Church in Neillsville. The Rev. Norman Lindloff performed the double ring ceremony before an altar adorned with baskets of white, pink and red roses.

 

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. William Hagen, 2218 Black River Rd, and Mr. and Mrs. Howard Dayton, R. 1 Granton.

 

Mr. Hagen gave his daughter in marriage.

 

For her wedding the bride chose a lace waltz-length gown with matching accessories.  A fingertip veil was attached to her head piece.  The bridal bouquet consisted of red roses and white carnations.

 

Miss Donna Dayton, sister of the groom, was her maid of honor and Miss Edris Wendt, a friend, served her as bridesmaid.

 

Eugene Hagen, a brother of the bride was bestman.  Groomsman was Wendell Ott of Neillsville.  Robert Dayton, Granton, and Leslie Hagen of Neillsville, ushered.

 

One hundred fifty guests attended a reception at the bride’s home.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Dayton are residing in Marshfield, where both are employed.  They are graduates of Neillsville High School.
