Reshel, Catherine (10 September 1883 - 3 May 1962)

 

Funeral services for Mrs. Albert Reshel, 78, of City Point, who died May 3, in Neillsville, were held Saturday forenoon from the Bergemann Funeral Home. The Rev. Fr. Jerome Gerum officiated.

 

Mrs. Reshel, the former Catherine Grumbeck, was born September 10, 1883, in Poland.  When she was 12 years of age the family came to the United States and located at City Point. On September 19, 1906, she was married to Albert Reshel.  They had resided in City Point since that time.

 

She is survived by her husband and the following children: Thomas, Bernard, Mrs. Margaret Hanutke and August, City Point; Martin, Slinger; Mrs. Casimer (Susie) Kalodziejski, Cicero, Ill.; Mrs. Charles (Marion) Schultz, Fox Lake; and Mrs. John (Christine) Steponik, Waterloo.  Other survivors include 31 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Mary Jaromin, City Point.

 

Pallbearers were: Frank Hanutke, Thomas Hanutke, Robert Ostrowski, Earl, Reuben and Robert Reshel.  Mrs.  Glenn Short played organ music.
