Neillsville Locals (26 April 1962)

 

Mr. and Mrs. Earl Ruedy and Donald were weekend guests of his mother and her parents in Cochrane.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Williams and Mark and Keith visited Mr. and Mrs. Louis Bullis in Minneapolis during the Easter Vacation.


Mr. and Mrs. Larry Langreck and children spent the weekend in Two Rivers with relatives.

 

Mrs. Amelia Hagie, and Mr. and Mrs. John Hagie of Marshfield, spent Sunday with John Cardarelle in St. Paul.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Carl Hoffmann last Sunday entertained Mr. and Mrs. Louis Hoffmann and daughter of Janesville, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Hagedorn and family of Fond du Lac; Philip Thompson of Rockford, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Shaw and family, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Hagedorn and Teresa, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Haas, Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Howard and family, Richard Hagedorn, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hoffmann, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Hoffmann, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Hemp, Mr. and Mrs. Victor Lehman and Victoria of Neillsville.

 

Joe Pietrek visited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Pietrek, Sr., in Arcadia last weekend.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Paul Spaete of Sturgeon Bay called on Mr. and Mrs. Tony Schiller April 17, in Phoenix, Ariz.  Mrs. Spaete is a niece of Tony, and once lived in Neillsville and Granton.

 

Mr. and Mrs. James Rahn and daughter and his grandmother, Mrs. Albert Storek of West Allis, were weekend guests at the Henry E. Rahn home.

 

Mr. and Mrs. John Flitter and family, St. Paul, Minn., were weekend guests at the Maurice Meredith home.  Sunday dinner guests there were the flitters, Mr. and Mrs. Roland Jenni and children and Mr. and Mrs. Tom Meredith and family.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Duane (Chick) Bush and family of Milwaukee were guests from Friday to Tuesday at the Leo Wasserburger home.

 

Sunday guests at the Fritz Stelter home were Mrs. Emma Doss and Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Hinkley of Milwaukee, and Mrs. Fred Stelter and Oscar.

 

Merle Reams, Kenosha, spent Easter with his family here. 

 

Lee Keller, Minneapolis, Minn., spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Keller.  He was accompanied by Dean Zickert, who spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Percy Zickert; and Beatrice Downer, who was a weekend guest of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ross Downer in Granton.

 

The Women’s Relief Corps met Saturday in the VFW hall. The birthday of Mrs. Christman was observed.

 

Miss Nancy Ayers spent the weekend in Kansasville with her mother, Mrs. Robert Lang.

 

Mrs. Estelle Dux returned home Wednesday from the hospital, where she underwent major surgery.  Her daughter, Mrs. Manley Walker and children of Eau Claire spent several days with her.
