Jinkerson, Darlene J. (1 JAN 1938 - 21 JUN 1943)

 

Darlene Joyce Jinkerson was born in Wis. Rapids Jan. 1, 1938, the only child of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Jinkerson, and died at the Krohn Hospital in Black River Falls, after a short illness, Monday morning, June 21, 1943, at the age of 5 years, 5 months, and 20 days.  Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 23rd, at the home, at 1:30, and at the Methodist Church in Merrillan, the Rev. W.R. Wright officiating.  Pallbearers and flower girls were her cousins.  A beautiful song service was given by Rev. Wright, with Mrs. Wright accompanist.  Burial was in the Alma Center Cemetery.

 

Little Darlene lived with her parents at Wis. Rapids until last April, when the family moved to the farm near Merrillan.  She is mourned by her parents, her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James Campbell, and Mrs. John Cormican, and a number of uncles, aunts and cousins, and one great-grandmother, Mrs. B. Kimball of Ismay, Mont.

 

Relatives and friends from away attending the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. B.B. Haza and family, Mr. and Mrs. Bervel Walter and family, Mrs. Chas. Grant and sons, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Jinkerson, Mrs. Wm. Heeg, Mrs. Wm. Gile, Wis. Rapids; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Dombrock, St. Croix Falls; Mrs. Effie Brownell, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Phillips, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Phillips, Eau Claire.
