Szymanski, Susan Evelyn "Suzy" (31 May 1966 - 19 April 2011)

 

Susan E. "Suzy" Szymanski, age 44, of Neillsville, formerly of Thorp, passed away to her heavenly home on Tuesday, April 19, 2011, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.

 

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 27, 2011, at St. Hedwig’s Chapel in Thorp.  Rev. John Mano and Rev. Jerome Naduvathaniyil co-celebrated the Mass.  Burial of cremains will follow in New St. Hedwig’s Catholic Cemetery.  Honorary pallbearers were nephews: Eric, Scotty and Loren Alger, and nieces, Danielle and Jennifer Szymanski and Amber Noah.  Visitation was held at St. Hedwig’s Chapel, on Wednesday, from 9:30 a.m. until time of service.

 

Susan Evelyn Szymanski was born on May 31, 1966, in Stanley, WI, the daughter of Richard and Elaine (Cook) Szymanski.  Suzy was very special and dear to her family.  She left her family and friends with many fond memories. Suzy currently was living at Whispering Pines Manor, in Neillsville, under the care of John and Jenny Chadwick, and Bill Webb.

 

She had many interests, but especially loved eating, music, latch-hook, walks and car rides.

 

Suzy will be dearly missed by her parents, Richard and Elaine Szymanski of Thorp; her siblings: Cindy (Jim) Alger of Thorp, Pam Szymanski of Bangor, Rick (Margie) of Loyal, Mike (Brenda) of Greenwood, Bob (Dawn) of Eau Claire, Holly (John) Noah of Thorp, John (Sherrie) of Stanley; 10 nieces; 10 nephews; three great-nieces; three great-nephews; and many friends. She was preceded in death by one niece, Sara Alger.
