Krueger, Paulette (25 NOV 1960)

 

Given away in marriage by her father, Paulette Krueger became the bride of Thomas Nelson on Saturday, Nov. 25, 1960, at 4:00 o’clock at Grace Lutheran Church in Milwaukee with Rev. Richard Reichman performing the wedding vows.

 

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Norwood Krueger of Milwaukee, and the groom is the son of Mrs. Marie Nelson of Milwaukee.

 

The bride wore a white taffeta wedding gown with a chapel train, high neckline and long tapered sleeves buttoned at the wrists.  The bodice and skirt were trimmed in lace embroidery and sequins.  She wore a fingertip veil with a jeweled crown and carried a white orchid surrounded by stephanotis.

 

Miss Joyce Nelson, sister-in-law of the groom, served as the maid of honor, and the bridesmaids were Kathy Krueger, sister of the bride, Carolyn Miller, cousin of the bride, and Kathleen Peardon, cousin of the groom, Julie Nelson, sister of the groom, served as junior bridesmaid, as did Frances Peardon, cousin of the groom.

 

The maid of honor and the bridesmaids wore identical street length dresses of red velvet, with red accessories.  Their headband was a queen’s crown of red velvet, and they carried a basket effect of red carnations surrounded with white roses.

 

The bride’s sister, Jull Marie Krueger, served as flower girl, wearing a white taffeta dress with fingertip veil.  She carried a basket of roses and carnations.

 

The groom’s brother, Ted Nelson, served as best man, and groomsmen were Richard Hennlick, cousin of the bride, Thomas Lyval, cousin of the groom, and Jerry Symborski, a friend of the groom’s.

 

The rings for this double ring ceremony were carried on a white satin pillow by Gus Mingesz.

 

The bride’s mother was dressed in a blue plum satin dress with black accessories.  The groom’s mother wore a beige lace with brown accessories.  Both wore orchid corsages.

 

A reception was held at the Maple Grove Hall for 200 guests.

 

The groom is employed at Babcock, Wilcox Tublicar Products Co. and the bride is employed at Royal Transit as a secretary.

 

After a honeymoon in northern Wisconsin the newlyweds will reside at 2005A W. Greenfield Ave. in Milwaukee.

 

The bride is a granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Woik of rural Owen (Clark Co., Wis.).
