Novak, Noreen M. (5 MAR 1960)

Miss Noreen Marie Novak and Fred William Hoeper Jr. of Owen (Clark Co., Wis.) were married Saturday, March 5, 1906 at 11 a.m. in St. Patrick’s Church at Omaha, Neb.  The Rev. Paul J. Begley officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Mrs. George Q. Copenhaver, 1340 South 61st Av., and Norman J. Novak, Omaha.  Mr. and Mrs. Fred W. Hoeper, Owen, are the parents of the bridegroom.

The bride, given in marriage by her step-father, wore a gown of white Chantilly lace.  The molded bodice fashioned with a pearl outlined portrait neckline featured bracelet length sleeves and the bouffant circular skirt was waltz length.  Her halo length veil fell in a circular sing from a dainty pearl crown.  Her bouquet was a cascade of white roses and white hyacinths.

Miss Alice Beckman was maid of honor.  She wore a white lace over yellow taffeta sheath with a yellow net overskirt.  She wore a matching organdy hat and carried a bouquet of yellow daffodils.

Paul Hoeper of Seattle, Wash. served as his brother’s best man.

For her daughter’s wedding, Mrs. Copenhaver chose a brown lace over beige satin sheath dress.  She wore a matching hat of net and flowers, and wore a corsage of tangerine roses.  The groom’s mother was attired in a bright blue print silk dress with black accessories and a corsage of golden roses.

A reception for the wedding party and guests followed the ceremony at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Phillip K. Hoeper, cousins of the groom.  A dinner was held later at the Roam Inn for the relatives and out of town guests.

Mr. and Mrs. Hoeper will live in Omaha.

Out of town guests at the wedding included Mrs. Paul Hoeper and daughter Katrina, and Allen Hoeper, all of Seattle, Wash.; Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Hoeper, Withee; and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hoeper and daughter, Forest Dawn, Owen.
