Granton, Wisconsin (15 March 1962)

The Granton Civic club will meet Tuesday at the home of Mrs. E. L. Witte. This meeting, scheduled for Wednesday evening, was changed to Tuesday due to Lenten services.

Mrs. Ethel Berg and Clay Converse, who have been patients in Memorial Hospital in Neillsville, returned to their homes Wednesday; Mr. and Mrs. William Schmidtke drove to Neillsville to get them.

The Rev. L. E. Schreiber last week entered a hospital in Minneapolis, Minn., for tests and observation.  He is expected to return home this week. The Rev. Mr. Krueger of Marshfield conducted the Sunday service at the Zion Lutheran Church in Granton in the absence of the Rev. Schreiber.

Mr. and Mrs. William Schmidtke spent a few hours Sunday at the Harold Bechler home in Spencer.
