Duvall, Janalee #2 (28 FEB 1959)

 

Miss Janalee Duvall, daughter of Mr. and Melvin Duvall of route 2, Colby, and Franklin Gustafson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Hilmer Gustafson, route 2, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.) exchanged marriage vows on Saturday, Feb. 28, 1959.  The Rev. Victor Grosshueschof of the First Evangelical and Reformed Church at Colby, officiated at the two o’clock ceremony.

 

Herb Juneau sang two solos, "The Lord’s Prayer" and "O Perfect Love."

 

A ballerina length bridal gown of imported Chantilly lace and nylon tulle was worn by Miss Duvall.  It was styled with long sleeves and a Sabrina neckline with sequin and pearl trim.  A fingertip length veil of sheer illusion net was caught to a crown headpiece of nylon tulle trimmed with pearls.  She carried a bouquet of white carnations and red roses.

 

Bridal attendants were Mrs. Lyle Duvall, a sister-in-law of the bride, and Miss Patricia Gustafson, the groom’s cousin.  They wore gowns of nylon taffeta in ballerina length styled with taffeta cummerbunds and carried pink and white carnation bouquets.

 

Lyle Duvall, the bride’s brother, and Jerry Prepeluh, the groom’s cousin, were his attendants.  Allen Duvall and Ronald Hofmann ushered.

 

Wedding day events consisted of a reception held at the home of the bride’s parents.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Gustafson are graduates of the Owen and Colby High Schools.
