Pleasant Ridge (1 February 1962)

 

Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Jacobs and daughter, Wausau, were Sunday dinner guests of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Stanley.  Enroute home they visited her brother, Allen Stanley, and his family near Granton.

 

Mrs. Ruth Ebert, Neillsville, and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Larsen spent Saturday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Harold Ottow.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Clarion Counsell and Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Blackman were Sunday evening guests at the Lewis Scholtz home in Neillsville.

 

Miss Arlene Schlinsog, Milwaukee, spent the weekend with her father, Walter.

 

Mrs. Dale Short who has been a pneumonia patient in Memorial Hospital returned to her home Wednesday.

 

Gene Short has been troubled by a carbuncle on his arm.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Larry Babka and daughter, Black River Falls, were weekend guests at the Arthur Hubing home.

 

Mrs. Alfred Magnuson, Mrs. Gene Short, Mrs. Genevieve Hantke and daughter, and Miss Elsie Wolf were guests Sunday of Miss Hilda Kurth in Neillsville.  They helped Miss Kurth observe her birthday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Chadwick and children, Greenwood, were Sunday guests at the Walter Larsen home. Douglas Larsen, Minneapolis, Minn., spent the weekend with his parents.
