Hutchins, Warren  (20 MAY 1872-26 DEC 1953)

 

Warren E. Hutchins, 81, died at his home in Loyal Saturday noon, Dec. 26, of complications.

 

Funeral services were held in the Methodist Church at 2 p.m. Tuesday afternoon. The Rev. W. M. Mechlenburg officiated. Mrs. Ray Prior and Mrs. Byron Zepplin sang, "Beyond the Sunset" and "Under His Wings" with Mrs. Zepplin as organist. Pall bearers were Delbert Hutchins, Floyd Smith, Archie Smith, William Erickson, Otto Foelske and Homer Smith. Burial was in the Loyal Cemetery.

 

Mr. Hutchins was born in Fond du Lac County, May 20, 1872. He was married to Clara H. Smith, April 21, 1897, at Loyal

 

As a young man he worked in logging camps in this vicinity. After his marriage he purchased a farm in the town of Unity and lived there until 1924. For ten years he served as clerk of his school district.

 

The family moved to Riplinger in 1924 where Mr. Hutchins worked in a box factory. In 1944 he came to Loyal where he resided until his death.

 

Mr. Hutchins is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Otto Hamann, Loyal and Mrs. Gordon Phillips, Marshfield; four sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Nichols, Marshfield; Mrs. Anna Smith, Rapid City, S. D.; Mrs. Ben Dietsche, Spencer; Mrs. Jesse Lyon, Hingham, Mont.; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. His wife preceded him in death on Jan. 16, 1953. Three brothers also preceded him in death.
