SYLVIA PICKERING/EARNEST WATTS MARRIAGE

Earnest Watts and Miss Sylvia Pickering were married at the home of the bride, Dec. 31, 1902, Rev. R.D. Sparks officiating. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Byron Pickering and one of Sherwood's (Clark County) most popular young ladies. The groom is a man of good reputation who has been living in the neighborhood for the past three years. Hugh Watts of Palmyra, the groom's brother, acted as best man and Bertha Winn of Granton was bridesmaid. None but relatives and a few most intimate friends were present. The young couple will reside here during the winter and in the spring will leave for North Dakota. Wherever they go our best wishes go with them.
