Pagel, Janet (Marriage - 13 August 1961)
St. Mark Lutheran Church in Green Bay was the scene August 13 of the wedding of Miss Janet Pagel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Pagel of Green Bay, and Walter Klann, son of Mr. and Mrs. August Klann of Neillsville. The double ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. Carl Voss.
For her wedding the bride was attired in a nylon organdy gown styled with a full bouffant floor length skirt with scalloped tiers of the same material, edged with rows of scalloped cotton. The fitted bodice was fashioned with a rounded neckline and long, fitted sleeves. Her illusion veil was attached to an orange blossom and pearl crown and she carried a cascade bouquet of white camellias.
Miss Janet Wahl of Green Bay was her maid-of-honor. Mrs. Gerald Anderson of Green Bay, a cousin of the bride, was her bridesmaid.
The groom was attended by Andrew Madsen of Appleton as bestman; groomsman, Robert Mickelson, Appleton; and Carl and Paul Pagel, ushers.
The bride is a graduate of the Fox Valley Lutheran High School, where she has been employed as a secretary. Mr. Klann is a graduate of Neillsville High School and Colorado State College. Last year he did graduate work at Oklahoma State University on a national science foundation grant. In the fall he will teach mathematics at El Capitan High School in Lakeside, Cal.
Mr. and Mrs. Klann will honeymoon enroute to California.
