Pine Valley Township (24 August 1961)

 

Alvina Stelter, a native of Pine Valley, was married Saturday in Milwaukee to Leonard Hinkley. Attending from Neillsville were Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Stelter and Herman Gloff.  Mr. and Mrs. Bill Stelter of Towner, N. D., who were visiting at the Frederick Stelter home, accompanied them.

 

Mr. and Mrs. David Pietenpol and Michael of Eau Claire recently visited Mr. and Mrs. Leo Pflughoeft, and Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Pietenpol in the Town of Grant.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Durham and family of Milwaukee visited Mr. and Mrs. Keith Durham and Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Koranda last weekend. 

 

Mrs. Bernice Steele of Dinuba, Calif., is visiting her sister, Mrs. Bernard Dodte, and family.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Art Anderson of Chicago visited Mr. and Mrs. Frank Gutman last weekend.

 

John and James Peters and Margaret Bauer of Wilmette, Ill., arrived Saturday for a week’s visit at the Tom Yndogliato home.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Tom Yndogliato made a trip to Huron, S. D., last Thursday and returned home Friday.  They took their granddaughter, Rhonda Jonkel home and visited the George Jonkel family.

 

The Sydney Sewing club will meet next week Thursday at the home of Mrs. Alma Dux in Neillsville.

 

Leroy and Nicky Ludovic of Neillsville visited their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Cook last week.

 

Mrs. Otto Dux became ill at her home early Saturday and was moved to Memorial Hospital.
