Wojtowicz, Geraldine Ann (Marriage - 29 July 1961)

Wedding vows were exchanged July 29, in a nuptial Mass in St. Mary’s Catholic Church by Miss Geraldine Ann Wojtowicz of Neillsville, and Larry Allen Gollubske of Wausau.  The Rev. Fr. Bernard T. Kelly performed the double ring ceremony.

Parents of the couple are Mrs. Estelle Wojtowicz, Neillsville and Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Gollubske, Wausau.

Given in marriage by her uncle and Godfather, John J. Klepek of Chicago, Ill., the bride approached the altar attired in a floor length gown with a fitted bodice.  Her fingertip veil was attached to a crystal crown. White roses and stephanotis made up the bridal bouquet.

Bridesmaids were Mrs. Marge Hoeppner, groom’s sister, and Mrs. Carol Garbarski, cousin of the bride, both of Wausau.  They wore floor length dresses fashioned with three tiers of nylon chiffon over taffeta, in pink and mint green. Their bouquets were umbrella shaped of white lace over satin and pink carnations.

The groom was attended by his brother-in-law, Roger Hoeppner, as bestman; and his cousin, Bill Bitner. The groom’s brother, Bob Gollubske, ushered.

The wedding reception was held at the home of the bride.

On their return from a two-week wedding trip to the southern states, Mr. and Mrs. Gollubske will reside in Wausau, where the bride will continue with her beauty culture and the groom is employed in the building trade.

Out of town guests were: Mr. and Mrs. John J. Klepek and Lee Ann, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Jarems and three children, Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Klepek and two children, all of Chicago, Ill; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Pluchynski, and Miss Barbara Pluchynski, Vintondale, Pa.; Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Gollubske, Wausau; Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Christenson, Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Christenson, and Mr. and Mrs. Harley Christenson, Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. Anton Bitner, Mrs. Pat Wicke, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Gollubske, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Omernic, Stevens Point; Mr. and Mrs. Edward Schreiber and family, Mosinee; Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Schreiber, Wausau; Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Hackett, Rhinelander; Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Koprowski, Mosinee; Mr. and Mrs. Lee Roy Koprowski, and Mrs. Elaine Sterninger, Mosinee.
