Vine, Frank John (4 August 1873 - 27 July 1961)

 

Frank John Vine, 87, Neillsville, who had been making his home with Mr. and Mrs. Roy Suckow, died Friday at the Suckow home in the Town of Grant.

 

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon from the Georgas Funeral Home. The Rev. Lloyd Mauer of the Methodist Church officiated. Burial was made in the Town of Grant Cemetery.

 

He was born August 4, 1873, in Clark County and was the son of the late Fred and Mary (Buss) Vine.  He spent most of his life in Clark County, where he was engaged in lumbering and farming.  As a young man he worked at Lac du Flambeau.

 

He had made his home with his niece and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Suckow, since 1945.  Survivors are several nieces and nephews.

 

Pallbearers were: Glenn Suckow, Roger Grottke, Wayne, Roger, Fred B. and Gordon E. Vine.
