Pine Valley Township (6 July 1961)

 

Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Moore of Milwaukee have purchased two acres of land from Mr. and Mrs. Albert Mohr and have started construction of a ranch style residence.  It is located on the hill, west of the Mohr home.  Mr. and Mrs. Moore and children spent the holidays in Pine Valley.

 

Mrs. August Wagner and son, Harvey, Mrs. Stanley Gumm and four sons and Mrs. Meta Opperman of Milwaukee visited several days last weekend with Mrs. Erna Richardson and her brother, Herbert Wagner.

 

Mr. and Mrs. George Jonkel and five children of Huron, S. D., visited his mother, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Yndogliato last week.  Their daughter, Rhonda, remained for the summer.

 

Sydney Sewing club is meeting today (Thursday) at the home of Mrs. Erna Richardson.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Marg of Globe were dinner guests at the Ed Marg home Sunday.

 

Donald, Irvin and Melvin Marg are assisting their father, Ed Marg, with haying; the three families also gathered at the parental home for evening meals.

 

Lois and Agnes Mohr of St. Paul, Minn., visited last weekend at the Albert and Mrs. Chris Mohr homes.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Rudolph Novak and family of the Bruce Mound area, visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Mohr and family last weekend.  Mr. Novak is employed with the Green Bay and Western Railroad.
