Ozanich, Katarina (25 November 1881 - 14 May 1961)
Mrs. Joseph Ozanich, Sr., 79, died late Sunday evening at her home in Greenwood. She had been in poor health for some time.
Mrs. Ozanich, the former Katarina Gregorich, was born November 25, 1881 in Yugoslavia. She was married to Joseph Ozanich, August 13, 1902, in Houghton, Mich.
They farmed for 34 years six miles southwest of Greenwood. Twelve years ago they retired and moved into the city, where they have resided since.
Surviving are her husband, a son, Joseph, Jr., of Greenwood; and a sister, Mrs. Rose Stiglich of Yugoslavia.
Funeral services were to be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday from the Hill Funeral Home in Greenwood. The Rev. Edward Hartung of St. Mary’s Catholic Church was to officiate. Burial was to be made in the Greenwood Cemetery.
