Pine Valley Township (27 April 1961)

 

Mrs. Darrel Truax and son of Kenosha visited Mr. and Mrs. William Strangfeld and Mrs. Anna Morse last weekend.  Mrs. Truax reported Darrell, Jr., is undergoing therapy, skin grafting and plastic surgery in a Kenosha hospital and is expected to be a patient there for at least eight more weeks.

 

Murel Mott of Milwaukee visited at his home last weekend.

 

Mrs. Tom Yndogliato visited Mr. and Mrs. Otto Liskow Friday.

 

Beatrice Mohr has signed to return to Silver Crest School next fall.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Paul McKinley plan to spend the summer at Wisconsin Dells, where Mr. McKinley will drive a stage coach for Chap Paulson again.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Marg and family of Neillsville and Mrs. Herbert Bardeleben of Pine Valley were supper guests at the Ed Marg home Sunday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Smith and children of Neillsville, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Appleyard, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Appleyard and daughter, Mary Beth, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Buchholz, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Buchholz and family of Christie, Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Mueller and son, and Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Buchholz and family of Greenwood, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Spaete of the Town of Levis, and Bill Appleyard, of Eau Claire attended the baptism of Vicky Rae Appleyard, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leland Appleyard, in Mosinee Sunday.  Mr. and Mrs. Mueller and Larry were sponsors.  The group gathered at the Leland Appleyard home for dinner following the service.
