Nysted, Mary (23 JAN 1955)

 

Miss Mary Nysted was claimed by Lt. Jayson R. Brentlinger as his bride, Sunday afternoon, Jan. 23, 1955, in a ceremony performed by the Rev. T. E. Diemer, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Loyal.

 

The bride, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Nysted, Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.) , was given in marriage by her father.  For her wedding, Miss Nysted chose a white waltz-length gown with a fingertip veil secured to a crown of orange blossoms.  Her bouquet was of red roses and stephanotis.

 

Miss Jeanne Nysted was chosen to be her sister’s maid of honor.  She wore a blue waltz-length gown.  Her headdress was a crown of spring flowers and her bouquet contained spring flowers.

 

The groom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Russel L. Brentlinger of Terre Haute, Ind.  The groom’s father served as his best man.  Julius Nysted, brother of the bride, and John Steeves ushered.

 

Miss Bette Nysted was organist and James Ursin sang "Because" and "The Lord’s Prayer."

 

The bride’s mother attended the ceremony in a dress of gold color and the groom’s mother wore navy blue.  Their corsages were of variegated pink and white camellias.

 

Following the service, a reception and dinner were given in the parlors of the church.

 

The bride is a graduate of the Loyal High School and attended St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minn.  She is employed by TWA at Phoenix, Ariz.

 

The groom attended Rose College in Terre Haute, Ind., and is a jet flight instructor at St. Luke Air Force Base, Phoenix, Ariz.

 

After a honeymoon spent at Chicago, Ill., Terre Haute, Ind. and California, Lt. and Mrs. Brentlinger will be at home at 1308 W. 5th St., Apt. D. Phoenix, Ariz.

 

Among the guests were all of the bride’s sisters and brothers and their families, Mr. and Mrs. James Ursin and children and Mr. and Mrs. Bert Finet and children, Wausau; Mr. and Mrs. Orville Nysted and daughter, Minneapolis; Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Nysted and children, Highland Park, Ill.; Miss Jeanne Nysted, Eau Claire; Mr. and Mrs. Julius Nysted and children, and Mrs. Wilbur Auth.
