Levis (16 March 1961)

 

Mrs. Lillian McCarty, Ed Holub and Mr. and Mrs. George Holub were in South Dakota last week.

 

Debra Subke celebrated her seventh birthday Sunday. Those who helped her were Mr. and Mrs. Martin Kalina and family and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Subke.

 

Sandra Cernik celebrated her birthday Sunday.  Mr. and Mrs. Ed Schoen and family, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Fitzmaurice and Terri of River Falls, and Mrs. Emma O’Leary were there to help make her day happier.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Cernik and family of Wisconsin Rapids visited Thursday with Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Cernik.

 

Four mothers of the Dells Dam Mother’s Club escorted the school children to the matinee "Kidnapped" at the Neillsville theatre Saturday.

 

Jim Filitz spent the weekend at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herb Filitz. 

 

Jim Filitz called at the Elmer Filitz home Sunday morning.

 

Clifford Karl and Allen Naedler visited Jim Filitz Sunday afternoon.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Helmuth Schultz visited recently with Mr. and Mrs. Louie Lautenbach.

 

Jesse Mike is a patient at Memorial Hospital.

 

Russel John called on Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Holub Sunday morning.


Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Schutte visited Sunday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Charles Meier.

 

The Levis, Dells Dam and Meadowview P. T. A. held its card party Sunday at the Levis Bohemian Hall.  There was a nice attendance.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Glen Bush were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Burt Bush of Black River Falls.
