Weller, Martha #2 (15 AUG 1877 - 5 APR 1962)

 

Funeral services for Mrs. Martha Weller, 84 years old, who died at the Bethel Home at Arpin Thursday, April 5, 1962, at 5:30 p.m. were held Monday afternoon.  The Rev. William Christian conducted the services at 2 o’clock at Zion Lutheran Church, Colby, after which interment was made in the Colby Cemetery.  During the service, Mrs. L. Priem sang "Just As I Am" and "Have Thine Owen Way Lord."

 

Pallbearers were Otto and Ted Baumgart, John Marx, George Kowalk, Carl Prange, and Malcolm Lamont.

 

Mrs. Weller was a lifelong resident of the town of Hull.  After the death of her husband, Henry Weller, she lived at Colby and about four years ago, became a resident of the Bethel Home.

 

She is survived by a son, Clarence Weller, and daughter, Mrs. Ella Kanter of Abbotsford; and a son, Walter Weller of Wauwatosa; and nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

 

Among those attending the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Weller and family and Mrs. Ella Kanter, Abbotsford; Walter Weller and daughter, and Mr. and Mrs. Everett Marshall of Wauwatosa; William Weller, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Kanter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Klimeck and family, and Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Toedter, Milwaukee; Mrs. Larry Blunck and daughter, Northfield, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Amacher, Withee; Mr. and Mrs. Henry Malchow, Janesville; Mr. and Mrs. Joe Daniel, Rib Lake; Mr. and Mrs. John Marx, Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. John Kastorff, Fond du Lac; Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Weller and daughter, Westfield; Mr. and Mrs. Karl Buchholz, Mrs. Roy clark and Mrs. Arthur Buchholz, Owen; Miss Anita Buchholz, Curtiss; Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Buchholz and family, Cornell; Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Buchholz, Ladysmith; Mrs. Dora Tesmer, Spencer; and others from Marshfield, Spencer, Unity, Loyal, Greenwood, Stratford, Abbotsford, and the surrounding area.
