Mueller, Peter (27 AUG 1906 - 5? JAN 1962)

 

Funeral services for Peter M. Mueller, 55, who was fatally injured in a highway accident on Highway 100 near Milwaukee, Friday, were held Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock at Peace Evangelical and Reformed Church at Dorchester.

 

Officiating at the services and at the interment in the church cemetery was the Rev. Fred K. Kollath.

 

The body lay in state here at the Polnaszek Funeral Home until noon Thursday, when it was taken to the church.

 

Mr. Mueller was born Aug. 27, 1906, in New York.  He attended school in Chicago and was married Jan. 20, 1928 to the former Nora Muehler.  The couple farmed in the Dorchester (Clark Co., Wis.) and Medford areas, and for the past seven years, owned and operated Snipe Lake Resort at Eagle River.

 

Mr. Mueller served on the church council of the Peace Evangelical and reformed Church for many year, and was also a director of the Harry School.

 

He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Virginia Kocian, Milwaukee; three grandchildren; two sisters, and three brothers, including Frank Mueller of Abbotsford and John Mueller of Dorchester.

 

A son preceded him in death.
