Gebert, Donna M. (11 NOV 1961)

Miss Donna Marie Gebert and Robert Carl Lindberg repeated their marriage vows Saturday morning, Nov. 11, 1961, before a nuptial high mass in St. Louis Catholic Church, Dorchester.  The Rev. Gerald Schuh witnessed the double ring ceremony at 10 o’clock.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. John W. Gebert and Mrs. Roger Anderson of Marshfield, and the late John Lindberg.

The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, chose a floor length princess style gown of peau de soie with pearl trim at the neckline and a tiered bustle with a large bow in the back.  A pearl tiara held her fingertip veil.  She carried a cascade arrangement of red roses and white carnations.

Attending her as matron of honor was Mrs. John D. Lindberg.  Miss Joan Gebert and Miss Gloria Boor were bridesmaids.  Miss Susan Lindberg was miniature bride and Miss Jo Ann Kalson was train bearer.

John Lindberg was best man.  Ronald and Charles Gebert were groomsmen, and Francis Seubert of Dorchester and Gary Gebert of Milwaukee ushered.  Robert Kalson was the ring bearer.

The bride’s attendants wore street length dresses of taffeta with chiffon over skirts.  The bodices were designed with puffed sleeves and draped necklines with ties at the back.  They wore crystal necklaces and earrings, a gift of the bride.  The matron of honor wore a coral gown.  Miss Gebert wore peacock blue; Miss Boor, gold.  They all carried bouquets of white and dyed to match carnations.

Miss Jo Ann Kalson’s frock was floor length and in lavender.  The miniature bride was dressed like the bride.

Festivities of the wedding day included a reception attended by 150 guests at the Francis Seubert home at 2:30 p.m. and supper at the church basement at 4:30.  In the evening, the new Mr. and Mrs. Lindberg greeted friends at a wedding dance at Memorial Hall, Dorchester.

Mr. and Mrs. Lindberg are making their home in Abbotsford on Pine Street.  The groom is employed at Felker’s Service.

Guests at the wedding came from Chicago, Aniwa, Milwaukee, Marshfield, Stetsonville, Medford, Colby, Dorchester and Abbotsford.
