Wiese, Juanita M. (15 JUL 1961)

Miss Juanita Marie Wiese and David James Krug exchanged marriage vows Saturday, July, 15, 1961, at one o’clock with Pastor Donald Olson of the Holway Evangelical Lutheran Church officiating.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Francis E. Wiese, Abbotsford and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Krug, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.).

The bride was attired in a gown of white lace and satin designed with a fitted bodice, long tapered sleeves and a bateau neckline outlined with scalloped appliquéd lace.  The floor length gown featured a lace over satin skirt with side fullness.  Her elbow length veil was held by a crown of lace trimmed with rhinestones.  She carried a heart shaped bouquet of solid red roses, white pompons, with ivy foliage and ribbon streamers.

Attending the bride as maid of honor was Miss Darlene Grambort, a friend, and as bridesmaid, Mrs. Kenneth Nernberger of Stetsonville, a sister of the groom.

They wore identically styled ballerina length frocks of white organza over taffeta.  The skirt was embroidered with pastel orchid and deep lavender floral sprays and the shirred bodice was accented with an orchid and lavender bow.  They carried colonial bouquets of lavender and white carnations.

Donald Hoffman of Medford, a friend of the groom, was the best man and Kenneth Nernberger of Stetsonville was the groomsman.

About 200 guests attended the wedding reception held at the Fred Krug home.  In the evening a wedding dance was held at Memorial Hall, Dorchester.

After a wedding trip to Yellowstone National Park, the new Mr. and Mrs. Krug will be at home on a farm on route 2, Owen.  Mr. Krug, a graduate of the Medford High School, is a farmer and milk hauler.  His bride was graduated from the Abbotsford High School in May.

Guests attending the wedding were from Abbotsford, Colby, Curtiss, Wausau, Owen, Stetsonville, West Allis, Milwaukee, Waukesha, Medford, Green Bay, Marshfield, Skokie, Ill., and Phoenix, Ariz.
