Windfall Corners (30 September 1937)

 

Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Mitchell and his mother Mrs. Amelia Mitchell from McGregor, Iowa enjoyed a visit over the weekend at the Gust Ayers home.

 

Ed Krejci is staying at the home of his brother, Victor Krejci and is helping put up a barn south of Riplinger.

 

Ben Beeckler had wood sawyers on Tuesday and sawed up a large pile of wood.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Roy Farmer and baby, Jacalin (Jacqueline) left for their home at Chicago, Monday after spending the past month at the Mott Osgood home.

 

Mrs. Isaac Higgin and Esther Beeckler attended the Civics Club on Wednesday.

 

Lib Fuller is staying with Mrs. John Breese while Mr. and Mrs. Truman Davis are enjoying their trip.

 

Mrs. Victor Krejci called on Mrs. Ed Jahr on Saturday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Bert Dersden enjoyed supper at the Gust Ayers home Thursday evening.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Martin Garbisch and Bonnie Mae were visitors at the Charles Hammond home on Saturday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Oens and Mr. and Mrs. Herman Griep visited at the Mott Osgood home Friday evening.
