Listemann, Virginia (8 Nov 1913)

 

Mr. and Mrs. Kurt Listemann returned Monday from Chicago where they attended the marriage of Mr. Listemann’s sister, Miss Virginia, which occurred Saturday.  Miss Listemann and William M. Baxter were united in marriage at the home of the bride’s parents and it was a notable social event in Chicago.  Miss Listemann of this city was matron of honor, together with Mrs. E.C. Finney.  The groom was attended by his brother, Lieut. Jere Baxter of Fort Snelling, Minn.  Among the notable out of town guests were Senator and Mrs. Luke Lea of Washington, Judge and Mrs. J.B. Dickinson, Mr. and Mrs. John Adams Calhoun of New York, Judge and Mrs. Robert Marr of New Orleans and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Maddox of Atlanta, Ga.
