Funeral services for David William Benedict, five-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Morvin Benedict of route two, were held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Loyal funeral home and at 2 p.m. at the York Center Methodist church, with the Rev. Lee Holmes officiating. Burial was made in the York Center cemetery.

 

Pallbearers were Robert and William Lulloff, Donald Benedict and Wayne Kronberger. Donna Lulloff, Georgia Benedict and Jean Kronberger were flower girls.

 

Miss Shirley Rowe sang "Does Jesus Care?" and "Under His Wings." Mrs. Milford Rowe accompanied on the piano.

 

The little boy died at the Neillsville hospital at 9 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 1, following a lingering illness. He was born on Feb. 12, 1944, and is survived by his parents and a brother, Kenneth, 2.

 

The Tribune extends its sympathy to the parents in their loss.
