Sternitzky, Ann Marie (Marriage - 24 September 1960)

A double ring ceremony uniting in marriage Miss Ann Marie Sternitzky and Marvin Schlinsog was performed Saturday by the Rev. L. E. Schreiber in Zion Lutheran Church Granton.

Parents of the young couple are Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Sternitzky, Rt. 1 Granton, and Mr. and Mrs. Emil Schlinsog, Rt. 2, Granton.

Mr. Sternitzky gave his daughter in marriage. She was attired in imported rosepoint hand clipped lace and nylon tulle over satin. The fitted lace bodice was fashioned with a Sabrina neckline trimmed with sequins.  Her fingertip veil cascaded from a crystal crown headpiece.  White carnations and rose buds made up her bridal bouquet. 

Miss Peggy Schlinsog was her maid of honor.  Bridesmaids were Misses Carol Gloff and Joanne Braatz.  The attendants were attired in coral lace dresses with satin trim, and carried white and coral flowers. Flower girls were Marjorie Schlinsog and Vicki Grottke, dressed in whie nylon and lace dresses.

Bestman was Gary Sternitzky.  Groomsmen were Allen Sternitzky and Wayne Kurth.  Ernest Sternitzky and Norman Vanderwyst ushered. 

Nuptial music, "the Lord’s Prayer" and "The Wedding Prayer," were sung by William Chambers accompanied at the organ by Mrs. L. E. Schreiber.

Both the bride and groom are graduates of the Granton High School.  They will reside at 806 South Cherry St., Marshfield, where the groom is employed.
