Urbanz, Gwendolyn (Marriage - 30 July 1960)

Nuptial vows were repeated Saturday morning in the Holy Family Catholic Church at Willard, uniting in marriage Miss Gwendolyn Urbanz and Louis R. Landini.  The parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Frank Urbanz and Mrs. Mary Landini, all of Willard. The Rev. Aloysious Madic was in charge of the double ring ceremony.

The bride approached the altar in a floor-length gown of white silk organza, which led into a chapel train. She carried a bouquet of white roses and ivy, centered by an orchid.

Mrs. Emil Plautz, of Owen was the matron of honor, and Miss Isabel Urbanz was the bridesmaid.  Both wore street length dresses of lavender chiffon over taffeta and carried bouquets of pink tea roses and lavender gladioli on mint green camellia leaves.

The groom chose Rudy J. Jordan of Milwaukee as his bestman, and Ralph Landini as groomsman.  Ushers were Frank Urbanz, Jr., and Alvin Kaltinger.

A reception and dinner were held in the church hall.

The newlyweds will honeymoon in the western states and in Mexico, and on their return will make their home in Willard, where the groom has a farm.

The bride is a graduate of Greenwood High School, and taught home economics last year at Stratford High School. This fall she will teach in Neillsville High.

The groom is a graduate of Greenwood High School, also, and has been in the air force four and one-half years as a jet pilot.

Out of town guests at the wedding were from Wausau, Lac du Flambeau, Chili, Durand, Owen, Menomonie, Stratford, Neillsville, Milwaukee, Madison, Chicago, Ill., and Cleveland, O.
