Turenne, Maxine Janice (Marriage - 11 June 1960)
Maxine Janice Turenne, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Turenne of Thorp, was given in marriage by her father June 11 at 12:30 p.m. at St. Hedwig’s Chapel at Thorp, to J. Mitchel Biser in a double ring ceremony.
The maid of honor was Dorothy Kliminski of Milwaukee, and the bridesmaid was Jackie Hedler, also of Milwaukee. The bestman was Roger Turenne. The ushers were Bill Harycki and Richard Turenne.
A wedding reception was held at the Legion Hall.
The bride and groom both had attended the Thorp High School. The bride is employed at the Northwestern Mutual Insurance Co., in Milwaukee, and the groom is employed in Madison.
Guests from out of town who attended the wedding were from Neillsville, Owen, Milwaukee, Madison and Minnesota.
