Stange, Louie W. (6 March 1874 - 2 June 1960)

 

Louie W. Stange, 86, died in St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, Thursday, June 2, of old age complications.  The funeral was in Trinity Lutheran Church at 2 p.m. Monday and burial was in the Lutheran Cemetery. The Rev. Virgil Ganz officiated.

 

Louie Stange was born in Beaver Township March 6, 1874.  He was married to Martha Wolfe in the Loyal Lutheran Church November 25, 1908.

 

As a young man Mr. Stange worked in the woods.  He farmed in Beaver Township until 1947 when he came to live with his daughter, Mrs. Alvin Fravert, in the city of Loyal.  Until then he had lived all of his life in the Town of Beaver.

 

He is survived by one son, Clarence Stange of Milwaukee; one daughter, Mrs. Alvin Fravert of Loyal; by one brother, Otto, of Willard; and by nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

 

His wife died on November 28, 1936, and three brothers and four sisters preceded him in death.
