Funeral services for Joseph Champoux, 83, are tentatively set for Friday at Red Lake Falls, Minn., and his son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Champoux, and daughter Cherri Lee of Levis plan to attend.

Mr. Champoux was born at Ishpeming, Mich., and moved with his parents when two years of age to Red Lake County, Minn., where he lived all of his life with the exception of the past five years, when he made his home with the Don Champoux family in Levis.  His wife died five years ago.

They had four sons and two daughters, Harvey, Wallace and Louis of Seattle, Wash., Donald in Levis, Mrs. Eraine Rock and Mrs. Deva Cadden of Seattle.  Mr. Champoux went to Red Lake Falls a few weeks ago to visit with friends and died suddenly Tuesday morning of a heart attack.  The funeral services and burial will be at Red Lake Falls.
