Soeller, Joseph (1881? - 14 MAY 1957)

 

Funeral services will be held at St. Mary’s Church in Stanley at 10 a.m. Friday for Joseph Soeller, 75, who died early Tuesday morning at Victory Hospital.

 

The Rev. Ralph Geissler will officiated and burial will be in the Stanley Cemetery.

 

He was born in Fond du Lac County, moving with his family to the Edson area in 1900.  He married Kate Smasal on Oct. 1, 1907.  Mr. Soeller worked for the Northwest Lumber Co. before farming in the town of Edson.  He retired in 1950 and they moved to Stanley.

 

Survivors include his wife; three daughters and two sons, Mrs. George Willner of Cadott, Mrs. A. P. Diedrich, Chippewa Falls, Mrs. Erwin Benzschawel, Thorp, Leonard and Norman; 14 grandchildren; five brothers and three sisters, Berthan of Campbellsport, George of Brandon and Alex of Thorp, Mrs. John Enfelt of Campbellsport, Mrs. Rose Pinter of Edson and Mrs. Barbara Smasal of Stanley.
