Berthold, Leonard Glyn (26 December 1926 - 9 December 1959)

 

Funeral services wee conducted Saturday from the Georgas Funeral Home for Leonard Glyn Berthold, 32, of Willard, Rt. 1, who died December 9, at the University Hospital at Madison.  Services were conducted by Charles Preston and Ervin Hoest of Wausau, and burial was made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.

 

Mr. Berthold was born December 26, 1926, in Willard, where he attended the Wildwood School. He was engaged in farming most of his life, with the exception of two years when he was employed by an implement company in Neillsville.  He was the son of Morris and Celia (Clintsman) Berthold.

 

He is survived by his mother, a sister, Miss Lorraine Berthold, Minneapolis, Minn.; and two brothers, Donald of Greenwood and Victor of Willard.

 

Pallbearers were Robert Beyer, William Dollasse, Fred Griswold, Arthur Griswold; Nathan Markham and Neal Accola.  Singers were Miss Doris Wilson and Miss Bythia Gasser of Eau Claire.
