Washburn Township (29 October 1959)

 

The Washburn Farmers union local will meet at the Kurt Janisch home tonight (Thursday).

 

A son was born to Mr. and Mrs. Richard Macha Saturday.

 

Mrs. Charles Bright and daughter, Lorna, returned home Thursday after spending two and one-half weeks with relatives in Elwood, Ind.  Her father, Loren McDaniels, and son, Garry and Mrs. McClintock brought them home and spent the weekend here.  They returned to Elwood Sunday.  Mrs. Bright attended a Billy Graham meeting at Indianapolis while away.

 

Mrs. Paul Kuhn entertained the Birthday Club Friday afternoon, with Mrs. Frank Short as assistant hostess. The afternoon was spent with Bunco was entertainment.  A lunch was served.

 

Mrs. Albert Lincoln will entertain the Washburn Homemakers Club November 11.  Mrs. John Reinart will present the project on credit and installment buying.
