Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Pszeniczny, whose wedding was a Saturday event, will honeymoon in the West before returning to the Withee (Clark Co., Wis.) area to make their home on the bridegroom’s farm in the town of Reseburg.

The former Miss Elaine Lukasiewicz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Lukasiewicz of Thorp, and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Pszeniczny, were married in St. Hedwig’s Catholic Church at Thorp by the Rev. F. Piekarski in a 10 a.m. ceremony.

Attending the bride as maid of honor was her sister, Miss Rose Mae Lukasiewicz, who was dressed in a gown fashioned of net over blue taffeta, with a lace jacket.  She carried pink and white carnations.

Similar dresses in yellow, green, aqua, orchid and pink, which was worn by the last three named, were chose for the other bridal aides, Irene Jaskot of Chicago, Hildy Stuermer, Gloria and Jane Wargolet, cousin of the bride, Shirley and Betty Lukasiewicz, sister of the bride, and Mary Ann Wojkiewicz, her cousin.  They carried matching basket floral arrangement.

The bridegroom was attended by one of the bride’s brothers, Walter Lukasiewicz, as best man, and two others, Ted from Chicago, and Kenneth shared groomsmen’s duties with Frank Harycki, Thorp, and Rudy Vrkljan, Withee.

Ushers were Edward Pszeniczny, brother of the bridegroom, and Louis Wojtkiewicz, cousin of the bride.

Also appearing with the bridal party were the bridegroom’s niece and nephew, Rosemary and Edmund Grzekorzewski.  The little flower girl’s dress was patterned after the attendants’ and she carried white pompons and pink carnations in a basket.

When she appeared, the bride was seen in a pearl embroidered gown.  A lace panel extended the length of the skirt, and lace shaped the long sleeves and queen collar which finished the neckline of the net yoke in a sweetheart neckline.

Sprays of stephanotis and two orchids were in her bouquet, and a pearl and sequin crown was her headpiece.

After the ceremony, dinner was served to relatives of the bridal pair in the church hall, and 600 guests were greeted by the newlyweds during the 5 o’clock reception there in the evening.

Among the guests were relatives and friends from Antigo, Wausau, Milwaukee and Chicago.
