Froeba, Marceil Clara (Marriage - 19 September 1959)

St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Loyal was the scene of the wedding of Miss Marceil Clara Froeba and Lynne Wilbur Russell, both of Loyal, Rt. 2, at 10 a.m. Saturday.  The Rev. Norbert E. King officiated and Sister Vera Marie was organist.

The bride’s floor length gown of net over taffeta was fashioned with a front panel of embroidered lace, with net ruffles extending to the floor.  The bodice was nylon embroidered lace trimmed with a Sabrina neckline and long, pointed sleeves.  A pearl trimmed headpiece held her fingertip veil.

Mrs. Thomas Froeba, Loyal, was matron-of-honor.  Her floor length gown of orchid was styled with a lace bodice and skirt of net ruffles over taffeta.  She carried orchid and white gardenias.

Thomas Froeba, brother of the bride, was bestman.  Flower girls were Sandra Froeba, sister of the bride and Shelly Uhlig, niece of the bride.  Gary Grambort, nephew of the bride, was the ringbearer.

A reception, dinner and supper were held at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Froeba.

The bride attended Loyal Schools and the groom attended schools at Spirit Lake.  He is employed by Plautz Brothers at Willard.  The couple will make their home on Greenwood, Rt. 1.

Guests from Loyal, Wausau, Marshfield, Abbotsford, and Racine attended.
