Endries, Alberta (19 NOV 1926 - 12 OCT 2010)

 

Alberta A. Endries, 83, Spencer, died on Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2010, at the Marshfield Care Center under Ministry Home Care Hospice Services. Visitations will be held on Thursday, Oct. 14, from 4-8 p.m., at Rembs Funeral Home, with a Holy Rosary at 4 p.m., and again on Friday, Oct. 15, from 9:30 a.m., until a Mass of Christian burial at 10:30 a.m., at Christ The King Catholic Church, Spencer. Rev. Charles Stoetzel will officiate. Bonnie Jakel and the Christ The King Choir will provide music for the service. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery with Tony Terry, Mike, Korey and Dakota Endries, Jennifer Borths and Scott Miskowiak serving as pall bearers.

 

Alberta A. Apfelbeck was born on Nov. 19, 1926, in Colby, to Albert and Anna (Pecher) Apfelbeck . She married Marvin A. Endries on Oct. 24, 1951, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Colby. He passed away on Dec. 3, 2005. After their marriage, they purchased a dairy farm in the town of Spencer and operated it until their retirement. She enjoyed fishing, camping and playing sheepshead.

 

Suvivors include her children, Herbert (Peg) Endries, Marshfield, David Endries, Spencer, Gerald (Jayne) Endries, Spencer, Doris (Charles) Borths, Marshfield, Lenore (Russell) Miskowiak, Wausau, and Carol Endries, Wisconsin Rapids: 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three brothers, Arvin (Margaret) Apfelbeck, Park Falls, and Clem Apfelbeck, Mayville, Mayville.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Marvin.
