Hribar, Olga Mildred (28 August 1915 - 17 October 2010)

 

Olga M. Hribar, 95, of Willard died at Neillsville Care & Rehab Sunday, Oct. 17, 2010.

 

Olga Mildred Ule was born Aug. 28, 1915, in Willard, the daughter of Joseph and Mary (Lovko) Ule.  She was raised on the family farm in Willard and received her education at North Willard School.  Olga was united in marriage to Joseph Hribar Aug. 27, 1938, at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church in Chicago, IL.  They lived in Chicago until moving to Willard in 1947, where they farmed until retiring.  She did volunteer driving for senior citizens through the Social Services office in Neillsville for many years.  Olga continued to live on the farm until entering Neillsville Care & Rehab May 25, 2010.

 

She was a lifetime member of Holy Family Catholic Church. Olga enjoyed crocheting and other crafts, especially bead work.  She will be dearly missed by her family.

 

Olga is survived by one brother, Edward Ule of Angels Camp, CA; two sisters, Mary Finstad of Staunton, VA, and Alice Braun of Greenwood; nieces, nephews, others relatives and friends.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Bill Hribar, Sept. 29, 1978; her husband, Joseph, Sept. 9, 1996; one brother Joseph Ule; and one sister, Matilda Garner.

 

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 21, 2010, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Willard.  Rev. Joseph Follmar will officiate and burial will follow in Holy Family Catholic Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Joe Tolaney, Jerome Stremikis, Craig Hribar, Richard Hribar, Clayton Braun and David Braun.  Visitation will be held at the church Thursday from 10 a.m. until time of service.
