Pine Valley (16 July 1959)

 

Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Feyen and children of Moline, Ill., spent last week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Otto Miller.

 

Mrs. Robert Quast of Sparta spent last week at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Strangfeld and with her husband’s parents’, Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Quast in Seif.  Her husband attended a conference for vocational agriculture instructors at Madison and joined her at Neillsville for the weekend.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Rufus Karl visited Sunday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Strangfeld.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Devere Sischo and children, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Strangfeld and children and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Quast helped Mrs. John Strangfeld celebrate her birthday Sunday. A birthday dinner was served.

 

Mrs. Andrew Pavlic, who visited relatives in Chicago for three weeks, returned home last weekend. She was accompanied by her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Max Yates, of Melrose Park, Ill., and by a granddaughter, Carleen Bishop of Chicago.

 

Robert Nemitz, who visited two weeks with Mr. and Mrs. Art Nemitz, returned to Milwaukee Friday.  Richard Nemitz left Friday for Norfolk, Va.  He will go to Italy, where he expects to be assigned to duty with the navy for two years.  He spent a 15-day furlough at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Art Nemitz in Pine Valley.  His parents and sister, JoAnn, took him to the "400" at Merrillan, Friday.
