Steinhilber, Lois (Marriage - 27 June 1959)

St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Neillsville was the scene Saturday of the wedding of Miss Lois Steinhilber, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lester Steinhilber, Neillsville, and Allan Cummings, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Cummings, Sr., former Neillsville residents, now of Tomah.

The Rev. Fr. Joseph Eisenmann performed the ceremony.

For her wedding the bride wore a ballerina-length dress of pink Chantilly lace over taffeta.  The princess style, fitted bodice was designed with a "v" neckline in front and back, and her ear-length veil was attached to a pearl studded headpiece.  She carried a cascade bouquet of pink rosebuds and stephanotis.  The long, white ribbons of the bouquet were entwined with green.

Miss Janice Urlaub, dressed in an apple green gown styled as the bride’s, was her maid-of-honor.  She carried a pink and white colonial bouquet of carnations and small ‘mums.

Lee Steinhilber, brother of the bride, was the groom’s only attendant.

Following the ceremony - a reception and dinner was held at the bride’s home for approximately 40 guests.
