Henninger, Luella Rose (Marriage - 27 June 1959)

Miss Luella Rose Henninger, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oswald Henninger, Loyal, and Jack J. Du Brava, son of John Du Brava of Greenwood and Mrs. Edith Du Brava, Wessington Springs, S. D. were married Saturday afternoon in the Loyal Methodist Church.  The Rev. C. E. Eslick performed the nuptial ceremony before an altar decorated with baskets of garden flowers.

For her wedding the bride chose a gown of white nylon and lace. The very full bouffant skirt was fashioned with rows of net ruffles.  The fitted bodice was designed with long sleeves and a Peter Pan collar, and her fingertip veil, edged in lace, was held in place by a rhinestone and pearl studded tiara.  She carried a bouquet of white and red roses.

Her attendants were Miss Neva Eslick and Miss Norma Henninger, who wore dresses of blue and pink metallic net over taffeta.  Each carried matching bouquets of carnations.

Mr. Du Brava was attended by his brother, Dale as bestman, and Kenneth Henninger as groomsman.  Ushers were Larry Du Brava and Glenn Henninger.

The reception and wedding dinner were held in the church parlors.

The groom is a graduate of Loyal High School.  In the fall he will enter his sophomore year at Wessington Springs College.  The former Miss Henninger, who has taught the last four years at the Oak Grove School at Unity, is a graduate of the Granton High School and Wood county Teachers College.
